IIT Bombay has released the examination schedule for the UCEED 2019 and the registrations will be start from 9th October 2018. Those candidates who want to get admissions to the Bachelor of Design (B. Des) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur they have to apply for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED).
UCEED 2019 will be conducted on 19th January 2019 and IIT Bombay is the organizing institute for UCEED 2019. This year UCEED will be conducted in 24 cities and applicants have to opt 3 cities of their choice for the exam centre. Check the full schedule from the table given below:

Eligibility Criteria for Applying for B.Des
Before filling the online application form for the admission applicants must be check that they are fulfilling the eligibility criteria which are given below:
- The candidate should have been born on or after 1st October 1994 (5 years of relaxation for SC/ST or PwD).
- The candidate should have qualified, i.e., obtained a rank in UCEED 2019.
- Those candidates who passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2018 or 2019 only they are eligible to apply for programme. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2017 or earlier are NOT eligible.
To apply for the admission for B. Des, candidates are required to fulfill the all above eligibility criteria.

Note: Those candidates who had complete their 10+2 from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects they are eligible to apply to all the three institutes. Candidates from any other stream (Science without Maths or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay and IIITDM Jabalpur.
