Journalism is a evergreen course which anyone with inclination towards public life can join. To pusue the couse in mass commnuication most reputed institute is IIMC. The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has announced the application and test dates for its post graduate entrance exam.The test will be conducted on May 28 in an offline mode.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates in any discipline from a recognized/ university.
- For general category candidates: 1.8.1992 or later. For SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates, the date is 1.8.1987 or later. For OBCs it is 1.8.1989 or later.
- The entrance test are conducted for admissions to post graduate programmes in Journalism, Advertising & Public Relations.

Other Facts for the exam
- The application fee has not yet been announced by the officials in the notification. However, it is lkely that the details about the form and fee will be uploaded on the official website soon.
- IIMC Entrance Exam will be conducted in an offline with sections namely General Awareness, Aptitude & mental make-up, language capability, and Analytical & comprehension skills
- IMC Results 2017 can be declared between last week of June or in the first week of July 2017.
- Selected students have to appear for interview round.
