IIMs are the premier B-schools in India, which provides education in the field of management to graduates and post-graduates. Recently IIM-Bangalore launched a new program by the name ‘General Management Programme for Young Leaders (YLP)’. The course is targeted to professional having 3-5 years of experience and will take leadership of small teams and to entrepreneurs who do not have any managerial experience.
In the programme, the course will be delivered with the help of selected MOOCs (Massive Online and Open Courses). The institute has decided to provide the course in online mode, with the one-day lecture. This one day lecture will be provided to students during campus module session. Faculty members of IIM-Bangalore will guide students on handling complicated issues on this campus module session. This will be the first time IIM-Bangalore is combining the online mode and in-class session to teach the students.
For this new course, YLP, the institute has figured out 10 core management courses to impart better leadership quality among the students. These 10 courses are divided into 2 modules, namely:

- Foundations for Management

- Foundations for Management
- Accounting for Decision Making

The course will be provided to students in online mode as well as classroom sessions. Although the basic content will be delivered through MOOCs which are developed by IIM faculties, the classroom sessions will be used for case discussions, management games, role plays, etc.

Programme fee:
Programme fee is Rs 3,00,000/- + GST (applicable rates) per participant, payable in three installments:
