Every student should know about the how many rounds of counseling will be conducted for the admissions in IP University. Generally, IP University conducted three rounds of counselling and after that Sliding Round is being conducted to fill up the vacant seats.

IP University has started sliding round for the first time in 2016 for B.Tech courses and it will take place after round 3 and before spot round. Sliding Round is very helpful for the aspirants and it will definitely upgrade their choices.

Required conditions for the Sliding Round:

To participate in Sliding Round there are 2 conditions that students have to fulfill which is given below:

1. Candidate should not freeze any seat.
2. Candidate should not withdraw his/her admission after submission of Rs. 40,000/-.

Let’s understand the sliding round counselling more clearly with an example:

e.g: If any candidate has been allotted MSIT ECE and he/she given MAIT IT as a preference above MSIT ECE then he/she will be upgraded to MAIT IT if there will be seat is available as per your rank.
